The OpenFace Toolkit (OFTK) extends the power of open source technology to face-to-face organizing and community building. The first tool in the kit helps community organizers faciliate face-to-face engagement with the people, places and things that matter to the community. Specifically, a community organizer can assign codes to these community "resources", associate addiitonal information with them, and then use "treausre hunt" incentives to encourage community members to seek them out. Community members can use their cell phones to capture the codes of the resources they engage with, as well as keep track of what they've done.
