The Marketing Team is specialised on marketing the Ubuntu distribution and liasing with all related teams, both upstream and downstream.

The process of brainstorming, developing, progressing, constructing, deploying, supporting, measuring and applying quality control to all activities related to marketing remains within the focus of this group. The particular vehicle(s) chosen to implement these activities may range from printed media to electronic media, conferences and presentations to games and competitions. The very foundation of a successful MartketingTeam is diversity itself and the scalability of zero-cost and cost-effective initiatives.
The first instance of communication for the entire team is IRC, where we can brainstorm in real time (#ubuntu-marketing or irc.freenode.net). The second instance, which allows more permanent contributions and slower discussion, is the mailing list. We like the mailing list. Last, but certainly not least, we have the Ubuntu wiki, where the MarketingTeam page should be the central point and should link to all MT activities therewithin, including the MT meeting schedule and agenda.
