A compact and fast 8 bit pink noise generator
pinknoise8bit generates 8 bit pink noise using the Gardner method with the McCartney selection tree optimization. Pink noise has the characteristic where the power spectral density (energy or power per frequency interval) is inversely proportional to the frequency of the signal.
