Asked by Brian Ealdwine

Is there a way to search prior support entries for answers to a question that probably already exists?

Hello Brian,

currently there's no way to search suppor requests. I filed bug 50564 on that issue and linked to your support request.

Thanks.

Mike, there has been quite a lot happening with sound. Search using text 'pulseaudio' to see. What you might have to do is make sure you have no mutes and that you have a 'stereo output duplex' Profile. Try right clicking on the (default top) panel speaker icon and choose Sound Preferences. Note tha PA is dynamic and some things don't show up until you are running appropriate application. E.g. Sound Recorder will not appear in Applications simply by starting the Sound Recorder programme. You need to be in a sound recording session before it shows along with a control for volume.

Can you help with this problem?
