There are 513 project groups registered in Launchpad.
In Launchpad, project groups are special groups of software projects that share a development community. Examples include Gnome, KDE, and Mozilla. Launchpad allows you to group several projects together into a project group, to make coordination and tracking simpler.
Only the Launchpad administrators and registry experts can register new project groups. You can register an individual application (what we call a project). To do so, first search to see if your project is already in Launchpad.
