Python 0.05 released

Written for Pycorn by Torne Wuff on 2010-05-23

Verison 0.05 has been released, and now has a "proper" binary release! Only the minimum amount of Python code is built into the binary itself; other modules are imported from a zipfile loaded as a ramdisk. The contents of the zipfile can be edited and rebuilt without requiring a compiler.

First release, with binaries!

The initial brain-dump into the wiki is complete and it now contains a basic description of the pycorn architecture, and various information about the goals and status of the project.

More things happening :)

It's been a while but I'm back to developing Pycorn now. I've refactored a lot of the underlying C code (it's now a proper library called embryo, which I guess is what a kernel comes from, no?) and there is support for accepting an initrd from the bootloader. Some tidyups are needed before I get to 0.01 but that'll be soon!
