ShowCast is a showcase of screencast that may be useful to new users. A simple interface is used to display a list of screencast which can be viewed directly in the ShowCast interface rather then opening up a totem window. Ideally this application would be launched upon first log in and present users with a few vital screencasts explaining Add/Remove and other task which a new user may not understand. The application is built using pygtk and gstreamer. Note that at the moment this application is nothing more then a proof of concept.
