A C++ Local-network chat client for Linux. This project is a commandline chat client for Linux (and perhaps later, other operating systems), and it provides, a simple, easy to use CLI, which will later be complemented by a GUI.

This project will provide a way to communicate with other hosts on the same local network, using the command line. It utilises the client-server model, with a client/server pair running on the local host, where the client is simply used for querying information from/sending information to the local server, and the local server communicates with other servers to send and receive messages and gather informarion. Currently, this only works on Linux, but I may later support macOS, or/and Windows. I may also write a GUI for it at a later date, but my focus is currently on writing the command line client/server pair.
