  * New version
    + GNUmakefile: Replace wrong LDFLAGS usage with LDLIBS.
      Make compilation with -Wl,--as-needed work.  Closes: #906991

    + Fix spelling mistakes
    + Set the manpages section to 1 (rather than 1L)
