data track of enhanced cd not automatically mounted

Bug Description

Insert an enhanced cd (i.e. a music CD that has
a data track). Ubuntu will offer to play the
audio tracks, but will not mount or offer to mount
the data track. You have to mount it by hand.

This was observed on Dapper.

When inserting such a CD in Feisty, I get a question about 'Play music'/'Browse files' (or similar). In the latter case, the CD is mounted and nautilus opened, so this works fine in Feisty for me. I believe it worked the same way in Dapper.

Can you please do https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingRemovableDevices if it does not work for you?

Errors in /var/log/messages when enhanced audio CD is inserted Edit (714 bytes, text/plain)

I'm having problems using a Mixed Mode (enhanced audio) CD under Feisty. Under Dapper and Edgy, I'm prompted whether I want to access these CD-ROMs as data or audio discs. I receive no such prompt under Feisty, although I observe the attached messages in /var/log/messages.

Despite the attached error, I can manually mount the data portion of the CD as an iso9660 file system. However, the audio portion of the CD cannot be accessed -- none of the audio applications (Sound Juicer,Rhythmbox or Banshee) see a disc loaded.

I have the same problem in feisty - I don't get a prompt anymore.
Appearently it is dependent on the driver - I get a prompt when I use my lg dvd burner - and no prompt when I use my normal dvd.
