Bug Description

Similar Bug reported for amd64 (#6557)

Was doing it after a few minutes of playing. Now it won't start. Output below.

Debug: [1/29/2006 12:47:11 AM] (Changed active playback engine) - GStreamer
Debug: [1/29/2006 12:47:11 AM] (Loaded primary playback engine) - GStreamer
Debug: [1/29/2006 12:47:11 AM] (Loaded Audio CD playback engine) - GStreamer
Debug: [1/29/2006 12:47:11 AM] (Audio CD Core Initialized) -
Audioscrobbler starting protocol engine
Segmentation fault

Recreate by letting it play for a while. It will crash weather minimized on in active use.

PS: this was happening before I enabled the Audioscobber plug-in for what it's worth.

Are you on a network with daap (itunes) shares? (just a wild guess)

please run banshee with gdb

gdb --args mono /usr/lib/banshee/banshee.exe
handle SIGXCPU SIG33 SIGPWR nostop noprint
(wait for the segfault and run)
(and then run on every adress... replace ADDRESS with the actual address)
p mono_print_method_from_ip (ADDRESS)

then 'continue' and when it continues running wait for the next segfault and do the same again and so on until banshee can't be continued anymore

Last night I successfully got it working again. I deleted the banshee directory in ~/.gnome2 and it worked again.

Not sure what was exactly wrong, though.
