DDCcontrol is a program, used to control monitor parameters, like brightness and contrast, through ddc protocol. This indicator applet provides quick and simple way to switch between monitor profiles created by DDCcontrol. In order to use it you should install ddccontrol and ddccontrol-db packages first. These may be obtained from http://ddccontrol.sourceforge.net/ Prebuild ubuntu packages of ddccontrol(-db) and indicator-gddccontrol itself are located in my ppa: https://launchpad.net/~allista/+archive/ppa
