Hugh what java package do you have installed and using with firefox? if you type about:plugins in address bar in firefox can you please attach the info found in there? Also can you please giv eme the output of "java -version" Thank you.

Also is that the only site it crashes on? or do get it with a few? does moving your profile or using a differnet profile without plugins fix the issue? Does it crash when you only visit that site?
