glibc (2.40-1ubuntu2) oracular; urgency=medium

  * debian/patches/git-updates.diff: update from upstream stable branch.
    Most of the diff is documentation tweaks and changes to the test
    suite, with bugfixes for the following upstream bugs:
    - strerror, strsignal TLS not handled correctly for secondary namespaces
      (dlmopen, LD_AUDIT) [BZ 32026]
    - double call to ungetc causes uninitialized memory reading.
      (also: ungetc causes memory leak) [BZ 27821]
    - Random __strchrnul_evex512 failures [BZ 32078]
    - vfscanf returns too early if a match is longer than INT_MAX [BZ 27650]

 definitions actually get generated. This is a space-saver over how this
 package used to be, with all locales generated by default. This created

 A better alternative is to install the locales package and only select
