Bug Description
After installing Feisty herd 3 from the alternate CD, a bomb appears in the top menu with the message:
Sorry Add/Remove... closed unexpectedly
This then provides the means to report the problem which has been submitted. Since this happened on several machines, it seems the problem is not hardware related but software which fails when starting the Gnome desktop.
