New KDE Logout window has no possibily to choose kernel version to boot from

Bug Description
After upgrading to kde 3.5.6 on February 8th the new logout window has only buttons. The restart button has no possiblity to choose the kernel version to boot from as the former had.

The bug has been fixed, and will be available soon in an update.

I have never seen any option to choose "Reboot from:" ever since I started using Kubuntu from the days of Dapper. But I would welcome this. As it is, Hardy does not have this feature yet, and neither does KDE 4 on Intrepid for that matter.

Hello. Almost one year after my last comment on this bug -- we now see Koala in development and the KDE logout window still does not have the facility to boot from a specific GRUB entry. Therefore changing the status from Fix Released to New.

Please direct your wish towards bugs.kde.org since really KDE should change KDM to support grub2.

I will implement the dropdown box again within a few days.
Until then use the following setting to enable the old logout dialog:
in ~/.kde/ share/config/ ksmserverrc add:
[Logout]
doUbuntuLogout=0
