Bug Description
I have an HP dv6000t laptop with built in headphone jack. I plug my headphones in and the sound cuts from the speakers and reroutes to the headphones. When I remove the headphones the sound does not return to the speakers. I have herd 5 on dual boot with windows xp and the headphones work fine in xp so im sure its not a hardware problem.

I apologize for the atrocious formatting of the dmesg output however my console kept truncating it and echo was the only way I knew of to get the whole output into a file.

Could you please also add the output of 'lspci -vv' and 'lspci -vvn' as attachments to your bug report? Thanks in advance.
