Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

Name of Add-on: Addressbooks Synchronizer
Mozilla add-on site: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2533/
Developer's site: http://www.ggbs.de/extensions/AddressbooksSynchronizer.html

Error occurs when attempting to connect via FTP to servers as means of updating addressbook. It may also affect HTTP and HTTPS connections, but these have not been tested. This is a known issue reported at https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2533.

The current work-around involves uninstalling ubuntu version of mozilla-firefox and installing tarred binaries from mozilla.org. This probably points to some sort of error in the ubuntu package of mozilla-thunderbird.

We can not track this addon as it is not an ubuntu package. Allow us some time to redicect you to the proper resources.

Rejecting because the plugin is the issue and Ubuntu doesnt have that plugin in repos. Please file a bug with mozilla on mozilla's bug tracker please.
