pyMPB is a Python frontend to MIT Photonic Bands (MPB). MPB is free software used to calculate the photonic band structure for photonic crystals. pyMPB interfaces with MPB to allow the user to describe his unit cell using Python, and helps with postprocessing and plotting the resulting band structure.
