Bug Description

Version 2:0.99+1.0pre7try2+cvs20051205-0ubuntu3

Can't install mencoder because of "/usr/share/man/man1/mencoder.1.gz', which is also in package mplayer".

And, there is no default Skin so installed mplayer-skins, manullay linked
/usr/share/mplayer/Skin/clearplayer/skin to /usr/share/mplayer/Skin/default/skin, but gmplayer complains that
[skin] error in skin config file on line 6: file not found (/usr/share/mplayer/Skin/default/main)

Also, I'm curious abbout these message during start uo of gmplayer.

This codecs.conf is too old and incompatible with this MPlayer release! at line 6
Linux RTC init error in ioctl (rtc_irqp_set 1024): Permission denied
Try adding "echo 1024 > /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq" to your system startup scripts.

mplayer-skins was in NEW, but now reached the archive, so this part of the bug should be fixed. The part about the manpage is serious, thank you for the report. We will handle this shortly.
