Whiteboard

fabbione (review): looks good to me. thumbs up.

mdz 2006-07-05: how will the kernel and initramfs be made available to the tftp server? how will the initramfs be constructed? will the existing one be enhanced to support this configuration, or a new one generated at runtime? are there still issues with combining unionfs and NFS, as we found when we tried it for LTSP? please expand and set back to pending approval.
tfheen 2006-07-06: addressed mdz's comments, putting up for review again.
mdz 2006-07-06: Approved

mdz 2006-08-22: deferred to post-edgy in favour of higher-priority goals

mariodebian 2006-10-06: I have build a livecd with a LTSP similar terminal server called TCOS, to work with NFS the exported filesystem must be in cdrom and remounted in /opt/ltsp/i386, NFS don't like unionfs and squashfs filesystems: http://soleup.eup.uva.es/mediawiki/index.php/SOLEUPIX-TCOS

RobertCollins 2007-01-09 I have implemented the required steps to get this going by hand, which should aid the eventual automation. Right now we need to make changes to casper to allow this to work.
