A project for porting the Ubuntu Unity shell to Arch Linux.
**NOTE: This project hasn't been in development for a few years now.**
This project contains the packaging files, patches, and scripts necessary to run the Ubuntu Unity shell on Arch Linux. It's based off of work done be Xiao-Long Chen, thn81, City-Busz, and several other members from the Arch Linux community. We aim to bring the full Unity experience to Arch Linux, meaning that we port Ubuntu's patches to pieces of software to ensure that they integrate with the shell in Arch Linux just as well they do in Ubuntu.
Package versions from Ubuntu 12.04 are used. For technical details, order of compilation, etc., see https:/
Disclaimer:
The source code for all the packages can be found by visiting the URL defined in the PKGBUILD files within the packages' directories. It is assumed that the PKGBUILD files, *.install scripts, patches, and all other packaging files are under the same license as the upstream for that specific project, except when stated otherwise. The license for each package can be found at the upstream website as well as in the 'license' variable of the package's PKGBUILD file. The licenses listed on this project page does not mean that every file is under all of those licenses. It's mearly a list of all the licenses of the packages used in this project.
