An open-hardware and software project which bridges CAN data to an Android device over Bluetooth. The project currently only supports CAN data from the DTA S-series ECU's.

Valvers Android Dash is an Open Hardware project, including an Android application for connecting to custom hardware via bluetooth to monitor data on a CAN bus. The DTA S-series ECU's protocol has been implemented, and the android application has been written.

The hardware is based around an ARM Cortex M0 processor with CAN CAN peripheral, linked via a UART to a Roving Networks RN-42 Bluetooth(r) adaptor to communicate with the application running on the Android tablet.

The hardware design (both schematic capture and PCB layout) is done with KiCad and makes use of the Valvers PCB Libraries project.
