Release notes

Major changes:

- Now builds correctly on Ubuntu (8.10), and/or with GCC 4.x

- Fixed a bug in full screen mode. Most people would have got window decorations around the output. This won't happen now.

- Support for x86_64 machines. (Not fully tested because I don't have a 64 bit machine with an Nvidia card.)

Fixed it to build correctly on Ubuntu, and/or with GCC 4.x.
Also the configure script now checks for GLU and GLUT.

The "Full Screen" mode was broken, and wouldn't have worked
properly for most people. Anyone who had a desktop visible on the
second screen would have got ugly window decorations around the
 output. This shouldn't happen now.

Fixed all the compiler warnings, const correctness etc. I get a
clean, warning-free compile now. (Except for FFmpeg.)

Removed a load of dead code and useless '#if's.

Improvements to video decompression to make it a bit faster

Channel combiners are now FFGL plugins.

Video previews now show the effected signal (after colour shift or
whatever) rather than the raw signal.

Fixed a crash when deallocating a plugin.

64 bit FFGL support, plus changes to build on 64 bit hosts.
