WACS Release 0.8.6 For Linux |
WACS stands for Web-based Adult Content Server |
Version Notes (Scripted Install): |
This WACS installation was created using either the scripted
install or the manual install, which means that things are not in quite the
same places as they would be had we been using pre-made packages. If you
have any concerns about where things are, look at the fsloc section
of your main Wacs configuration file, /etc/wacs.d/wacs.cfg (usually).
|
Release Highlights: |
- Our Demonstration site is live at
www.pinkmetallic.com
- wacssetup can now upgrade a release as well as install it.
Includes making any necessary schema changes
- New selection XML import/export applications allow saving of search results
and connections
- New list of source sites on modelpage
plus of course all the usual bug fixes and small enhancements. Please see the
release notes for full details.

Help And Support |
There are a lot of resources available to help you get the very best
out of the WACS software, whatever your reason for using it. A good place to
start is the very extensive documentation we've prepared to help you along:
Additional resources can be found at our SourceForge.net web site at:
wacsip.sourceforge.net and at
our project page on launchpad.net.
Beyond even that there are two mailing lists, one for users and the other
for developers on sourceforge's list server, Forums, a bug tracker and you
can visit the blog of the lead developer, Beaky at
www.beaky.name or you can email the
wacs team via wacs (at) beaky.name.
If you have a problem running Wacs or an idea for a cute new feature,
we want to hear about it!
