Only one day after this package has been started as an experiment it actually has reached a state in which it outputs images that are much better than I expected this approach to be able to get. If you want to give it a try just do it and give me your feedback. The standard autoconf stuff is in place - and compiling needs only a few seconds even on a netbook.

In the next days I will add getopt support and maybe choose a logo for the project, though.
