The 0.4 release obtains the friends list from a new page. Tray icon support was added and support for Pending friends was introduced. The new version works with the changes made to the Live site to support NXE features such as avatar pictures. More error handling support was added.

New features include notification support with Libnotify and DBus and persistent preferences in a separate config file. Offline durations are now shown in the list for friends that have been offline. The README has more information about accessing the information via DBus from a separate program. New icons were added and are used throughout.
