xfi now compiles in Visual Studio 2008

Support is now in place for development in both Visual Studio 2008 (Windows) and gcc (Windows/Linux).
Required libraries for MSVC are in a subdirectory and are properly referenced by the project file, so it should be a branch-and-go affair for anyone who wants to compile xfi for themselves.
The code has been tested and works on Windows 2003, Ubuntu 9.10 i386 and Ubuntu 9.10 amd64.

My branch will be done almost entirely on Linux/amd64, but there should be no issues compiling it for i386, and I will make sure it builds and runs on MSVC/Windows before merging into the main trunk.
