Release notes 

The Xibo development team are proud to announce the availability of Xibo 1.0.0 release candidate 2.

The 1.0.0-rc2 release of Xibo builds on the 1.0.0-rc1 release and addresses a number of issues we found. These are detailed in the change log below.

A large proportion of the work involved in getting Xibo in to the FOSS world has been done by Dan Garner, who deserves much of the credit for the project as it stands.

We'd love to hear from people who are willing to give Xibo 1.0.0-rc2 a try. Please report any bugs you find in the bugs section of Launchpad.

1.0.0-rc2 is database compatible with 1.0.0-rc1.

In the absence of a flashy updater, please do the following to upgrade:
1. Backup your existing xibo server folder
2. Make a copy of settings.php from the root folder
3. Delete the whole xibo server folder
4. Untar/unzip the new build in to the same location
5. Delete install.php
6. Replace settings.php with the one you copied earlier
