Release notes
1.5.4 (28 February 2018)
This release fixes the usability and portability issues caused by the
former build strategy, which did not suit the Intel compiler
(subsidiary modules were not installed). Libraries using the
high-level API should work fine with this version without changing
anything, at least both with Intel and GCC compilers.
The rest of the improvements only touched the documentation, in
particular with the introduction of a Doxygen configuration that can
be enabled by setting the option --enable-docgen=yes for the configure
script.

This distribution no longer needs the autotools developer suite to be processed. It contains a 'configure' script.
