Better Unity for HiDPI displays
PPA description
With Unity support pretty much being EOL'ed,
Canonical left it full of bugs for HiDPI display users.
Mainly 2 bugs were introduced since 16.10(Yakkety)'s release:
- Scaling reset upon display wake
- Weird fractional scaling
These commits were backported to 16.04 LTS as well.
This PPA has Unity with problematic commits reverted,
hence HiDPI behaviors should be identical to Ubuntu 16.10's.
Simply add, and run 'apt upgrade' to install Unity from this PPA.
Some tip regarding to 18.04:
If you install Unity + compiz on 18.04,
chances are you'll encounter shortcut issues with it.
Shortcuts such as "Launch terminal" and other media keys won't work.

Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:arter97/unity to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:arter97/unity
sudo apt update
