PPA description
Ubuntu packages for the latest PHP5.3.x releases (currently 5.3.6)
The main difference from these packages (compared to the official Ubuntu packages) is:
* Hardened-Patch removed
* (PDO_)MySQL(i) is built against mysqlnd (MySQL Native Driver)
* The maxlifetime hack to cleanup session files is removed
* Builds against the bundled GD lib (making functions like imageantialias() available)
- Shows the configure line in phpinfo()
Binary builds are provided for Lucid, Maverick, and Natty
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:bjori/php5 to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bjori/php5
sudo apt update
