The bzr-core team is comprised of people working on the bzr commandline version control tool and its supporting libraries. bzr is part of the larger Bazaar project, which encompasses alternate UIs, extensions and related programs. The Bazaar version control system is used for the Code aspect of Launchpad.

If you'd like to use or work on Bazaar, please see http://bazaar-vcs.org/, or join us in the #bzr channel on irc.freenode.net. It's not necessary to join this team to get involved. Joining the team causes you to be mailed when new bugs are filed and lets you commit directly to team branches. Membership of the team is granted to people who've already been active on the list.
