Flightgear Aircraft

Flightgear Aircraft packages, these require the fgfs-base package form the ubuntu repo's and might override/error if the aircraft are already present on your system. These are testing packages so only install them if you want to risk it.

The packages are named "fgfs-aircraft-X" where X is the aircraft name that you would use with flightgear to use that plane. For instance the English Electric Lightning would be installed by running apt-get install fgfs-aircraft-lightning. The package contains all the nessacery aircraft files. These packages were created with a python script, if you would like a copy of the script or would like to offer a suggestion on how to improve these packages please just email me.

My end aim for this is that packages to this effect can be included in an official flightgear apt repository furthering the integration of flightgear with ubuntu. This is the idea on brainstorm http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/24912/ . I am going to provide packages for the lucid and maverick versions of ubuntu currently, but I can backport these packages to older distrubutions if requested.

To install on your system:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cbaines/fgfs-aircraft && sudo apt-get update
