PPA description
a dirty little hack to get old nvidia drivers to install and run on ubuntu 12.04.
this is a hack and may break your system but it worked for me on my xbmc box so I thought it may work for some other people.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:diehard67/xorg-abi-compat-hack to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:diehard67/xorg-abi-compat-hack
sudo apt update
