You can also use these packages (both debian/ubuntu) with automatisch repo setup:
wget https://deb.myguard.nl/pool/myguard.deb
dpkg -i myguard.deb
apt update

I build packages because I got tired of not having some features, having old software or not having reliable packages at all to be found.

Most packages are rebuilds, backports and/or updates from latest (or upcoming) LTS or release and thus are following ubuntu standards and conventions. Switching back and forth should be no problem if not using the extra options my builds might be providing
