Slingscold is a lightweight application launcher similar to Launchpad in Mac OS X.

This project is the possible re-awakening of Slingscold and adapted from:

Two versions
Currently there are two version, which are almost identical.
* slingscold is full screen.
* slingscold-launcher is not full screen, it retains any panels.
Once installed set a shortcut key to access Slingscold.
System -> Preferences -> Hardware -> Keyboard Shortcuts > click Add
Name: Slingscold
Command: slingscold or slingscold-launcher
Now assign it a shortcut key, such as CTRL+SPACE.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:flexiondotorg/slingscold to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:flexiondotorg/slingscold
sudo apt-get update
