I'm a software engineer with MokaFive in Redwood City, CA, primarily responsible for our product BareMetal (http://www.mokafive.com/products/baremetal.php), a stripped-down Ubuntu platform for our desktop virtualization software.

I'm on leave from graduate studies in computer science at MIT, and a member of SIPB (http://sipb.mit.edu/), MIT's student computing organization. As part of this, I'm one of the people involved in the recent port of MIT's Athena computing infrastructure to Ubuntu: see http://debathena.mit.edu/ for details.

I'm also involved with SIPB's Invirt project, which provides server infrastructure and public UI for a large-scale virtualization system (think Linode for a university community ... except free in every sense, and better).
