DNSSEC - Applications and library support
PPA description
Packages rebuilt to support DNSSEC features
Maverick: Not needed anymore, both glibc and OpenSSH support DNSSEC without changes.
Lucid: Add "options edns0" to /etc/resolv.conf. Otherwise, OpenSSH does not use DNSSEC.
Karmic and Jaunty need these packages:
* glibc with back-ported DNSSEC-changes from glibc2.11
* OpenSSH recompiled to enable secure SSHFP host fingerprint lookups in DNS
See http://bd.hauke-lampe.de/dnssec/dnssec-enabled-ubuntu-packages.html on how to use DNSSEC with OpenSSH.
