I started my "Linux" journey back in 2004-2005, and my first Ubuntu distro is Hoary Hedgehog (5.04), dual booting with Windows XP, IIRC. Back then, Ubuntu is not my daily driver. I'm using it mostly for data recovery when Windows failed to boot or swarm with viruses and malwares.

On 2006, I lost my precious PC. Gone. Kaput. Dead!
My day job doesn't relate to IT and I didn't require any computer, so I didn't get myself any new machine. Didn't touch any computer since.

Comes 2010 - I bought myself a low-end laptop with the most buggy OS preinstalled, Vista. For months, I kept using this buggy OS until one day, I read somewhere on the net about Linux, Ubuntu to be precise. To be honest, I totally forgot about Ubuntu, but those articles kinda ring a bell and I started doing some research about it. After 2 days of downloading the ISO image, my poor laggy laptop finally brought to a new light - Karmic Koala, sitting side by side with Vista. This is my starting point, where my interest in Linux grows in every single passing days, until one day, I ditched Windows altogether.
