PPA for MMDAI

MMDAI is a toolkit for building voice interaction systems. This is a fork project of MMDAgent.

MMDAgent is developed by the MMDAgent project team in Nagoya Institute of Technology and released released for contributing to the popularization of speech technology.

Instllation:

Type the following commands in yuor command line:

  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:irie/mmdai
  sudo apt-get update
  sudo apt-get install mmdai

After that, you can run MMDAgent's script (.mdf or .fst file) by double clicking on the file icon with your mouse, or just typing "MMDAI <filename>" in your command line.

NOTE:

Also, you can run the script file automatically when starting up if you put MMDAI.mdf, MMDAI.fst, MMDAI.ojt, MMDAI.dic, and the data directories into $HOME/MMDAI.

For example, you can play MMDAgent_Example-rc.zip as follows (We assume you have already downloaded the .zip file and saved it in your home directory):

  cd ~
  mkdir MMDAI
  unzip MMDAgent_Example-rc.zip
  mv MMDAgent_win32-rc/* MMDAI
  cd MMDAI
  for f in MMDAgent_Example.*; do mv $f MMDAI${f#MMDAgent_Example}; done
  MMDAI
