PPA description
This is ISC's Extended Support Version, recommended for users who prefer infrequent upgrades. Currently this is the BIND 9.18 branch, which will be supported through mid-2026.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:isc/bind-esv to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:isc/bind-esv
sudo apt update
