PPA description
Updated Ubuntu Jaunty LIRC packages based on 0.8.6 version. This package is included in Karmic.
To get the latest drivers you need to select "lirc-modules-source" as well as the normal lirc packages. This will install drivers that override the ones that come in the Ubuntu kernel package.
After the new packages are installed, a reboot may be needed to get the lircd to see the new drivers.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:jyoder/ppa to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jyoder/ppa
sudo apt update
