Emacs stable releases

PPA description

This repository contains updated Emacs packages based on stable releases.
 Full release notes are available in the packaging repository (https://github.com/kelleyk/ppa-emacs).

Please report issues with the PPA by filing an issue against that repository.

The following package series are available:
  - `emacs28`: based on 28.x-series releases.
  - `emacs27`: based on 27.x-series releases.
  - `emacs26`: based on 26.x-series releases.
  - `emacs25`: based on 25.x-series releases.

The `emacs28-nativecomp` packages, which are available for 20.04 ("focal") and newer, have native compilation enabled. They are otherwise the same as the `emacs28` packages.

`emacs*-nox` packages are also available.

Adding this PPA to your system

You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:kelleyk/emacs to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing) 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kelleyk/emacs
sudo apt update
