PPA description
This PPA provides updated versions of OpenOctave MIDI
http://
Packages are available for Lucid, Maverick, Natty, Oneiric and Precise
To install and run OpenOctave MIDI using this PPA, just open a new terminal and run:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kxstudio-
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install oomidi-2012 linuxsampler
You can then start it by running 'oomidi-2012'
For OpenOctave Studio, run 'oostudio-2012'.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:kxstudio-team/openoctave to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kxstudio-team/openoctave
sudo apt-get update
