Backports of openjdk-8 (or whatever version tickles ⮡ tarent’s fancy) for various LTS
This repository, in general, caters to all LTS, but given that the distribution package
https:/
always contain all builds of all versions for all LTS releases, as that’d be redundant, if
the distribution package is equivalent or better anyway.
precise: amd64, i386 only
all others: amd64 only
Builds for Debian wheezy, jessie, stretch, buster, bullseye (all amd64 and i386) exist

As of 2021Q2, Launchpad does not permit new builds targetting precise, so we cannot
update the old binaries. They are nevertheless kept here in case someone needs them.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:mirabilos/jdk to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mirabilos/jdk
sudo apt update
