Kaffeine Stable
PPA description
Stable Release Builds of kaffeine (KF5 with libvlc) for ubuntu xenial 16.04 to disco 19.04 releases (later releases include this version in official repos). These builds are vanilla from upstream sources. There are no debian/ubuntu specific patches applied.
Kaffeine is a qt based media player that uses libvlc as playback engine. It handles a variety of media formats and provides a good digital TV support of the various standards (ATSC ISDB-T and DVB including PayTV decryption via CI/CAM).

* DVB-S 19.2E: Missing Transponders after Scan? Change the LNBf to 'Extended'. This will scan the Low + High frequencies introduced with Astra1E
