Packaged radeon gallium vdpau drivers for UVD support
PPA description
These packages include the latest patch (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=195;filename=0001-add-xvmc-vdpau-support-add-UVD-support-for-radeon.patch;att=1;bug=656719) for enabling UVD on the open-source radeon drivers.
The base source version is mesa-9.1.3-6 (http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-xorg/lib/mesa.git;a=commit;h=6dc4ef4c098af071aabf16daf616642db8bb6688).
I've only applied the patch, do minor edits of debian/control and built the deb packages. Credits go to Mikhail Kshevetskiy for supplying the patch.
To get UVD working, it's sufficient to only install libvdpau1-gallium-drivers.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:mysticalzero/radeon-vdpau-gallium to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mysticalzero/radeon-vdpau-gallium
sudo apt update
