The annual ARRL Field Day is my favorite amateur radio activity and has been since 1986. So far I have only missed one during that span. At first 24 hours seems too short but then by the end of the period, it has lasted long enough. Besides Field Day I enjoy casual contest operating, SKCC CW, QRP, digital modes, ragchewing, technical stuff, hacking on Hamlib, and just about anything else that catches my interests.

Besides ham radio and computers, I enjoy mechanical things as well including but not limited to motorcycles, other vehicles, and farm equipment.
