Nova Cinema (http://www.nova-cinema.org) is located in the centre of Brussels, Belgium. Since its opening in 1997, the theatre's programming is dedicated to independently produced films and videos. Nova is non-profit organization run by a collective of volunteers. It has become an important reference point for alternative, unconventional or simply different approaches to the audiovisual arts, in Belgium and abroad and keeps strong links with other such places all over the world, amongst others with the members of the Kino Climates network (http://www.kino-climates.org).
